  Monitoring and Evaluation Week in Kyrgyzstan

"Development and Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation Systems"

International  Program Evaluation Network (IPEN), Department of Civil Service and Public Policy of Administration of President of the Kyrgyz Republic and National MandE Network in Kyrgyzstan, with technical support of UNICEF will conduct series of events in the framework of Monitoring and Evaluation week in Kyzrgystan with the overarching theme "Development and Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation Systems".

Kyrgyzstan is currently building the governance system practically anew. It is clear that it must be built taking into consideration transparency and accountability principle.

Monitoring and evaluation are the key components of transparency and effectiveness for any governance. It is equally important that they be organized as a system with involvement and in partnership between the government and civil society of the Kyrgyz Republic, so that principles of professional attitude to results be integrated and implemented consistently.

Goals of the M&E Week

  • Identifying tasks and promoting formation of monitoring and evaluation system in the Kyrgyz Republic.
